The “who”

If you work in security (SOC, AppSec, GRC, IT, whatever) and you've ever caught yourself thinking “there has to be a better way to do this,” this is for you.

The “how”

  1. Sign up at Sola.Security

    If you haven't yet, sign up for a free Sola account.

    You'll have extra Sola AI credits at your disposal once you sign in.

  2. Get building.

    Connect your data source(s) and build out a fully-functioning agentic, contextual solution. You can build out your solution in the Sola platform or connect the Sola MCP. Your solution must include at least one of the following data sources: AWS, Azure, GCP, Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Jamf, JumpCloud, GitHub.

    Once your solution is ready, film a 1-minute walkthrough.

  3. Submit.

    Submit your solution on the boring.security website before June 22nd at 11:59PM EDT.

  4. Get approved.

    All submissions are reviewed internally for eligibility. You'll receive an answer about submission status within 48 hours.

  5. Call everyone you know.

    The public votes. You can campaign, share, yell into the void — whatever it takes.

    Most votes wins $20,000.

The rules

  • Solo submissions only, no teams
  • One submission per participant
  • Solutions must be built in Sola platform or using the Sola MCP
